Take Everything in Stride... Life is not a sprint

I know you all have been missing me and my blog... but I am back and with a vengance! I know that I have not been as consistent as I would have liked- but there has been a lot going on in my life. So my apologies to all of my avid readers and followers.

Anyway, what have I been doing the last few weeks since my last blog post? Well if you read the last one, I am NOT homeless and I am learning to like living on a budget. But what I really have been doing is working! Working in the real estate world is different than your average 9-5 or for my husbands case 7-6. I try to have a schedule but sometimes it does not seem to work. So- I have been trying to network- get my name out there and keep on a consistent schedule. It has been awesome, but very tiring because I was trying to make up for the last 3-4 months of my slacking- by fitting in all the people I meant to talk to/call/email, etc in just a few weeks.

First off- that does not work- you get exhausted and then burnt out. Its like when you decide you are going to go back to the gym and then you go everyday for a week- and then the next week you only go 2 times and then it completely stops. I realized I need to take my time- to just re-group and focus on the small goals ahead of me. I need to take everything in stride. Not to get stressed out about the things that are going wrong. Have your moment and then move on- leave it in the dust. Most of all life is not a sprint- be really good at what you are doing at the time and achieve that goal and then set a new one!

I am challenging you all to take everything in stride and remember that life is NOT a sprint!

Go Realty Girl

  1. Amen sista!! You GO girl! I believe in you and you can do anything you put your mind to!!! <3 ya! (and yes, I miss your blogs!)

  2. I second this to a T! We live in a world where we CRAVE.... EXPECT... NEED instant gratification and response and I think there is that famous quote... "Good things come to those who wait".... and I'm not talking sitting around on your bottom... but waiting and being patient to see that all your hard work over a period of time may not be "recognized" right away or you may not see instant results, but in the end, it makes it all worth it! <3
